Tasks:

Carrying out maintenance jobs during the renovation of the Killeany Lodge, such as gardening, painting, repairs, carpentry, house keeping etc
There will be interior painting of house, sanding and varnishing floors as well as gardening work.

Skills/ Qualities Needed:

Skills dependant on tasks carried out. All manual skills welcome.
All volunteers must be non-smokers.

Training and Support Provided: Yes

Time Required:

Volunteers will be able to stay in the lodge until work is complete. This will be anywhere between 4-6 weeks and longer in some cases depending on work. Approx 5-6 hours of work to be carried out per day and a full time commitment would be preferred.

Extra Information:

We are a non-profit organisation running a house for meetings, personal development, spirituality and organic gardening.
All food and accommodation will be provided to volunteers helping with the renovation work. Length of stay will be anything from one month to six months.
