Tasks:

Meet and greet visitors to the centre.
Bringing people to appointments in the hospital.
Show visitors the range of information available
Arrange for visitors to meet with the nurse

Time Required:  

We will take volunteers who can commit to one four hour session either weekly, bi weekly or monthly. Six month commitment required for the role.

Number of Volunteers Needed: 50

Location of Volunteering:  Galway University Hospital

Screening: Garda Screening and Refernce Checks

Extra Information:

The Daffodil Centre will be managed by a Cancer Information Service Nurse and supported by trained volunteers offering information to cancer patients and their families
