Tasks:

Sharing skin care and make up expertise with a group of 10-12 patients attending the beauty session.

Skills/ Qualities Needed:

Must hold a recognised professional Qualification as a Make up Artist, Beauty Therapist, Beautician or Beauty Specialist.
Must have a friendly, sensitive and courteous manner, excellent communication skills, willing to work as a member of a team and flexibility and the ability to use own initiative.

Training and Support Provided: Yes

Time Required: Three Sessions of Tuesday afternoons required between February-November

Number of Volunteers Needed: 10

Location of Volunteering: Depends on location of volunteer

Minimum Age Requirement: None given

Screening: Informal Interviews

Look Good… Feel Better Ireland is an initiative of the Irish Cancer Society Administered by through it's Patient Support Services Department. It aims to assist patients in dealing with the appearance-related side effects of their cancer treatment.
