Tasks:
To
act as a business mentor on a one-to-one basis to people who have recently
become self-employed. A mentor is expected to listen, provide information and
identify obstacles to business growth and to suggest possible solutions to
develop business progression.
Skills/ Qualities
Needed:
Relevant
qualifications are desirable. However, experience can be a good substitute
where a formal qualification does not exist. A mentor must demonstrate
competency in his/her chosen area of expertise.
Time Required: 1-2 hours per week
for 3 months.

Extra Information: Galway City Partnership (GCP) is a coming together of local organisations to promote the development of Galway City by tackling disadvantage and combating social exclusion. Funded by the Government, Galway City Partnership is charged with delivering the Local Development Social Inclusion Programme (LDSIP) on behalf of the Department of Community, Rural & Gaeltacht Affairs under the auspices of POBAL as part of National Development Plan.
