Tasks:

Designed to meet the need of cancer patients who stay in the residence, 'Inis Aoibhinn' and receiving radiotherapy at Galway University Hospital.
The volunteer will be required to accompany the patient to and from their radiotherapy appointment. These patients may be more dependent than other patients, e.g. may be wheelchair bound or require greater support to access radiotherapy services.

Skills/ Qualities Needed:
Physically fit, good communication skills, friendly manner.

Time Required: 2 hours a week for 6 months
