Tasks:

To raise awareness of our group through emailing, postering etc. Help needed with organising events during the year and networkingf with other organisations.

Skills/ Qualities Needed: Commitment to eradicating hunger and poverty.

Training and Support Provided: Yes

Time Required: Times to suit volunteers. Approx one hour per week

Number of Volunteers Needed: 5

Location of Volunteering: Galway One World Centre and Amnesty Cafe

Minimum Age Requirement: 18 or 16 with parental consent

Screening: Informal Interviews

Trocaire works for poor people in developing countries through aid, training, project development, education and civil society supports. This group aims to raise awareness in Galway.

We need new ideas and people who are able to network in the local community. No fundraising or physical work is required for this role.
