Visitor Hospitality and Reception - Brigit's Garden

Tasks:

Welcoming visitors, assisting with reception and visitor hospitality in the gardens, café and gift shop

 

Skills/ Qualities Needed:

Good communication skills and welcoming manner, reliability and interest in the project

 

Training and Support Provided: Yes

 

Time Required:

The gardens are open 7 days a week, so suitable days would be negotiated with the volunteers.
4 week commitment, minimum half a day a week

 

Number of Volunteers Needed: 6

 

Location of Volunteering:

Brigit's Garden, Roscahill, County Galway

 

Minimum Age Requirement: 18

Extra Information:

For this area of work we have limited capacity and the role involves front-line contact with visitors to the gardens so we need to screen volunteers for suitability.
Ideal for someone with reception or hospitality experience who wants to keep their skills alive, or people who would like work experience in this area
