Principles of Galway Volunteer Centres Approach to Volunteer Management Training.

This four half-day module programme is delivered in a hands-on, participative style and is designed to provide you with a best practice volunteer management framework for involving volunteers in your organisation.

It is the intention of Galway Volunteer Centre to ensure that the modules focus on the practical realities of managing volunteers, so that participants can see the value of taking a strategic and structured approach to volunteer management within their organisation.  As Galway Volunteer Centres aims to ensure that volunteers have enjoyable experiences, this focus on practical application of the training is of great importance to us.

GVC staff have been trained and accredited through Open College Network Northern Ireland (OCNNI)  to deliver the National Volunteer Management Training Programme.

We also work to a limit of 12 people per course, to ensure that each participant has a fair amount of time to contribute on the day, as this, we believe is the most effective means of learning.
